Form Letter for USDA Public Comment
For those members interested in submitting public comment, we are offering a basic form letter for use, but please be sure to fill it in with your own personal story and how these rules may financially disrupt your business. COHIA has submitted a detailed letter on specific rule concerns that can be found on our website and in order to save time, we are encouraging members to write in support of those comments as well as what was submitted by the Colorado Dept of Ag. Both submissions cover the 4 biggest areas of concern: sampling, testing (including the 15 day window and lack of access to “accredited” labs) THC caps and disposal of non compliant crops.
